Terms of Sales

These conditions shall apply, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. The term “Seller” used in the text equals Oy T. Stenbacka Ab.

TERMS OF DELIVERY

FCA (Incoterms 2020), Free Carrier (named place).

DB Schenker and the Finnish postal carrier (Posti) collect daily deliveries from the Seller’s stock according to an agreed time schedule.
Copper wire deliveries of at least 250 kg net are delivered in Finland free of charge.
If no carrier is mentioned in the order, the Seller will use its own contract carriers.

BACKORDERS

Backorders are paid by the customer, unless otherwise stated in the delivery terms.

PACKAGING

The Seller charges the cost price for packaging and transportation material.

PRICES

The price valid on the delivery day is used for all sales, unless otherwise agreed. The prices are based on the exchange rates valid on the Date of Offer. If the exchange rates or other costs change more than ±2 %, the Seller reserves the right to a corresponding price change. All prices are without Value Added Tax (VAT 0 %).

Invoices are normally in electronic form. For a paper invoice there will be a surcharge of EUR 7,60.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

Terms of payment is 14 days net, unless otherwise agreed. Late payments will have a penal interest of 11 %. In addition to the penal interest, the Seller is entitled to claim reasonable collection charges.

EXPRESS DELIVERIES

Express deliveries are charged according to incurred costs.

MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

The minimum value of an order is EUR 75,- (price of the product, VAT 0 %).

CLAIMS

Possible claims must be made to the Seller within eight (8) workdays after the reception of the goods. The Seller has the right either to repair the defective material or replace it with a new, similar or corresponding, one. The Seller is not compelled to cover other direct or indirect costs. The customer must upon the Seller’s request return the claimed goods.

RETURN OF GOODS

There must always be a separate agreement between the parties if a product is returned. The date and number of the invoice or the packing list must always be mentioned. Neither transport costs nor packaging costs are credited. The Seller covers the costs of the return of the goods only in case of faults connected to the delivery or the product itself or corresponding issues.

RETURN AND REFUND OF REFUNABLE SPOOLS AND PACKAGING MATERIAL

The Seller refunds returned, in good condition being, plastic spools for copper wires, used by Dahrén Sweden Ab. The same concerns the EUR packaging material used for the transport of the spools. The refund of the spools and the packaging material will be the price paid by the customer for the spools and the packaging material, deducted with a 10 % handling charge. The sender pays the freight costs for the return shipment of the spools.

Regarding other issues we adhere to the Association of Finnish Technical Traders’ General Conditions of Sale (TK Yleiset 2010 EN).
